The Catholic Maria-Hilf chapel in the Moos fraction of the municipality of St. Lorenzen in South Tyrol is a listed building .

Building description

The baroque , brick chapel was built in 1721 on the basis of a pledge. It carries a small, wooden roof turret on the roof . The building has a polygonal choir closure , inside a barrel vault rests on pilasters . Wall paintings from the beginning of the 18th century in stucco frames show a picture of Mariahilf , a Coronation of Mary , an Annunciation and Saint Veronica with the handkerchief. A donor's inscription can also be seen. On the altar, the figure of an enthroned Mother of God can be seen, flanked by Saints Sebastian and Josef Freinademetz .
