Maria Anna Freifrau von Oeyen (* September 2, 1737 - January 4, 1813 ) was the last abbess from 1774 to 1802 in the Cistercian monastery of St. Ludwig, Dalheim .

She was a daughter of Johann Nicolaus Ernst Freiherr von Oeyen and Maria Elisabeth Domicella Beerens and entered the monastery on May 27, 1759.

In 1775 von Oeyen had the monastery mill in Dalheim rebuilt. Their coat of arms with the year 1775 is still on the outer wall of the mill today.

A dispute about the abbess' way of life and the administration of office escalated in 1788. Due to a complaint from four of the nine nuns to the abbot Bernhard Wiegels of the Kamp monastery , the abbess was dismissed by the abbot without examining her allegations of innocence. Her complaint to the Abbot General of the Cistercian Abbey in Citeaux led to a visit to the monastery in Dalheim. Von Oeyen was rehabilitated by the abbot from the Marienfeld monastery (Münsterland) . The four revolting nuns had to renew their vows of obedience. They had said that the abbess had an intimate relationship with her rentmaster Reinhartz. The von Oeyen family ensured that the rent master was dismissed.

Maria Anna von Oeyen died on January 4th, 1813 and was buried in Wassenberg .
