Maria Anspach (* 1933 in Berlin ) is a Westphalian native writer, cabaret artist and journalist .

Life

After training as a bookseller, Maria Anspach worked as a freelance journalist in Siegen from 1958 . In 1980 she worked as an editor at the Westfälische Rundschau ; In addition, she worked in the editorial department of the "Siegerland Monthly Mirror" and on a voluntary basis for the senior citizens' magazine "durchblick". She gave various readings in Siegen, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt . In addition, Maria Anspach became known through appearances at WDR Cologne ("Six authors from NRW") and at Deutschlandfunk ("Ghost Calendar").

Together with the former mayor of Siegen, Hilde Fiedler , Maria Anspach formed the cabaret duo "Spitz Feder, pointed tongue" (time-critical, political, bizarre and black humor, poems, chansons, songs, couplets) from 1981, as well as together with Hilde Fiedler and Emmi Blume -Härter from 1987 the "Cabaret Hexenbesen" (dialogues, skits, chanson texts and literary cabaret).
