Maria Legs-Hager
Maria Bein-Hager (* 1919 in Augsburg , † 1991 in Ansbach ) was a German artist .
Her works of art have been exhibited in Paris , the United States , Australia and the Federal Parliament in Bonn , among others . In 1945, after her husband had died in World War II, she settled in Ansbach . In 1966 she acquired a property in the Weihenzell district of Beutellohe , where she lived from then until her death.
Among other things, she designed a fresco of Saint Mauritius for the church of the same name in Warzfelden . She was also responsible for the artistic concept of the Roncallistift chapel in Erlangen .
Maria bein-Hager was awarded the culture prize of the city of Ansbach. In 2003 the newly built Maria-bein-Hager-Weg in Weihenzell was named after her.
