history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1281 as "Bůteloch". The basic word of the place name "-lō (c) h" ( mhd. ) Means grove , the qualifier "biute" ( ahd. ) Denotes a beehive . The place name refers to a location near a beehive. According to the location and the place name, Beutellohe is a clearing settlement from the high or late Middle Ages.

In the 16-point report of the Oberamt Ansbach from 1684 8 teams were recorded for bag loyalty: 4 properties were subordinate to the court box office of Ansbach , 1 property to the monastery office of Ansbach , 1 property to a Herr von Mohr and 2 properties to the Privy Förster Council. The high court and the village and community authority exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbachische Hofkastenamt Ansbach.

Towards the end of the 18th century, Beutellohe formed a community with Thierbach . In Beutellohe there were still 8 properties and a community pastor's house. The court box office in Ansbach continued to exercise the high court and the village and community rule. The landlords were the Principality of Ansbach (Hofkastenamt Ansbach: 2 Halbhof, 1 Gut, 1 Wirtschafts- und Schmiedgut; Stiftsamt Ansbach: 1 Gut) and Ansbach owners (von Förster: 1 Gut, 1 Halbgut; von Mohr: 1 Gütlein). At that time there were 9 subject families, 6 of which were Ansbachian. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the community edict, Beutellohe was assigned to the Weihenzell tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community Weihenzell, founded in 1811 . A request for the formation of their own community together with cell rugs was rejected on August 27, 1833.
