Neubronn (colloquially: "Naibrún") is a district of the municipality Weihenzell in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .
geography
The Itzelsbach rises near the hamlet , a right tributary of the Mettlachbach, which flows into the Haselbach on the left . The Adelmannsdorfer Schlag forest area borders in the east. The district road AN 9 leads to Zellrüglingen (2.5 km south) or Haasgang (1.5 km north).
history
From the unfavorable location and the prefix Neu- one can conclude that Neubronn is a late settlement that was probably founded between the 11th and 13th centuries at a "new source" (the Itzelsbach). The place was first mentioned in 1281 as "Niwenbrunne".
In the 16-point report of the Oberamt Ansbach from 1684 5 teams are listed for Neubronn: 2 properties (both half courtyards) were subordinate to the Hofkastenamt Ansbach and 3 properties to the Stiftsamt Ansbach . There was also the shepherd's house and the forge, both communal buildings. The high court and the village and community authority exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbachische Hofkastenamt Ansbach.
Towards the end of the 18th century there were 8 properties in Neubronn. The court box office in Ansbach continued to exercise the high court and the village and community rule. The sole landlord was the Principality of Ansbach (Hofkastenamt Ansbach: 2 half yards, 1 empty building ; Stiftsamt Ansbach: 4 half yards, 1 estate). In addition to the property, there were communal buildings (shepherd's house, crushing house). At that time there were 7 subject families. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .
As part of the municipal edict, Neubronn was assigned to the Wernsbach tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Wernsbach, founded in 1811 . On July 27, 1830, Neubronn was changed to the newly formed community Haasgang . According to the property tax cadastre of the tax community Neubronn from 1833 there were 10 properties in the settlement, 6 of them half courtyards, the community shepherd's house, a teaching house of the "Potaschensiederen", a butcher and a shoemaker.
In the course of the regional reform , Neubronn was dissolved on July 1, 1972 and the place was incorporated with Haasgang and Moratneustetten to Weihenzell.
