Lilo Grahn

Lilo Grahn (born March 21, 1943 in Waltershausen ; † March 14, 2007 in Berlin-Pankow ) was a German actress and voice actress .

life and career

After childhood and school in Friedrichroda , Grahn studied acting at the State University in Potsdam-Babelsberg from 1961 to 1964 before making her debut as a theater actress in Schwerin. After several years of stage work in Wittenberg, she became a freelance actress.

She gained fame especially in 1967 for her portrayal of the settler girl Judith Hutter in Groschopp's DEFA Indian film Chingachgook, the great snake based on James Fenimore Cooper . Her other films include a. the Stanislaw Lem film adaptation of The Faithful Robot , the period comedy Hauptmann Florian von der Mühle (with Manfred Krug ), the drama Januskopf (with Armin Mueller-Stahl ) and several films from the crime series Polizeiruf 110 .

In addition, Lilo Grahn also worked as a voice actress and lent her voice a. a. Jana Štěpánková in the television series The Hospital on the Outskirts of the City , Joyce Blair in the multi-part The Last Days of Pompeii and Delores Hall in their series role in Diagnosis: Murder . She also took part in numerous radio plays, including a. The Coat (1976) and The Lost Warrior (1974).

Lilo Grahn was married to the well-known GDR graphic artist Herbert Sandberg for the third time in 1981 .
