Petersdorf (colloquially: Bed ə schdorf) is a village in the municipality Weihenzell in Ansbach in Middle Franconia .
geography
Immediately to the west of the village rises the Fichtleinsgraben, a left tributary of the Haselbach , which flows into the Bibert on the right . To the west lies the Schneegrund corridor, behind which is the Schleisswald forest. Communal roads lead to Weihenzell on the district road AN 10 (1.7 km west), to Kleinhabersdorf (2 km northeast) and Forst (1.4 km southeast).
history
The place was first mentioned in a document in the Würzburger Lehenbuch from 1303 as "Betrichsdorf". The defining word of the place name is Baturich, the personal name of the founder of the settlement. In 1410 it was mentioned as "Betersdorff", and finally in 1504 as "Peterßdorff", obviously a reinterpretation, as the personal name was no longer common at that time. It can be assumed that the place was founded in the 12th or 13th century as a clearing site.
The properties were subordinate to different landlords : the northern courtyards belonged to the Lords of Lohenroth, the so-called Sauernheimsche Hof to the Nuremberg patricians Kreß von Kressenstein and the remaining farms to the Nuremberg patricians von Welser . The church tithe had to be paid to Forst .
In the 16-point report of the Oberamt Ansbach from 1684 15 teams were recorded for Petersdorf: 7 properties were subordinate to the court box office Ansbach , 1 property to the monastery office Ansbach , 4 properties of the imperial city of Nuremberg , 2 properties to the Privy Councilor forester and 1 property to a Mr. Greuss. There was also a shepherd's house and a blacksmith's shop, both communal buildings. The high court and the village and community authority exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbachische Hofkastenamt Ansbach.
At the end of the 18th century there were 16 properties in Petersdorf. The court box office in Ansbach continued to exercise the high court and the village and community rule. Landlords were the Principality of Ansbach (Hofkastenamt Ansbach: 1 courtyard, 1 Halbhof, 1 Gut, 1 Leerhaus ; Stiftsamt Ansbach: 1 Söldengut ; Parish Weihenzell : 1 Söldengut) and Nuremberg owners (von Welser: 2 half-farms, 1 Köblergut , 2 Söldengüter; from Zeltner : 1 yard). In addition to the property, there were also communal buildings (forge, shepherd's house, crushing house ). From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .
As part of the parish edict, Petersdorf was assigned to the Bruckberg tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Bruckberg, founded in 1811 . On August 13, 1827, it was re- grouped into the newly formed community of Forst . On July 1, 1971, this was incorporated into Weihenzell as part of the regional reform .
The place has an airfield for small motor planes and gliders.
