Maria Blazejewski (born March 18, 1991 in Beulah , Michigan , United States ) is an American basketball player . She is 1.82 m tall and plays in the center position .
Life
Her father Mark was a Lakers player from 1974 to 1978. Her sister Meredith was also a successful basketball player.
Basketball career
She started her basketball career at Benzie Centra High School and studied at Lake Superior State University in Michigan , where she played in the 2nd division of the NCAA . She played 80 games in 4 years for the Lakers, scoring 1121 points (14 per game) and catching 384 rebounds (4.8 per game).
For the 2013/2014 season she moved to the Czech Republic , where she played for the Czech first division club BK Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary . For the 2015/2016 season, she signed a contract with the Hessian second division club Bender Baskets Grünberg .
