Maria Ghițulica

Maria Ghițulică (born August 26, 1938 in Gogoșu , Dolj district ) is a former Romanian politician of the Romanian Communist Party PMR (Partidul Muncitoresc Român) and from 1965 PCR (Partidul Comunist Român) , who was a candidate for the Political Executive Committee between 1984 and 1989 of the Central Committee (ZK) of the PCR.

Life

Maria Ghițulică began studying journalism after attending school and, after joining the Partidul Muncitoresc Român (PMR) in 1958, between 1959 and 1961 also studied at the party college " Ștefan Gheorghiu " . She also worked for a transport company in Timișoara and in 1961 became an editor in the literary section of the youth newspaper Scânteia tineretului .

She also obtained a PhD from the Faculty of Philosophy at the Academy of Social and Political Sciences "Ștefan Gheorghiu" . Later she was an instructor in the Central Committee department for cadres and in 1969 an advisor in the party committee in the Bucharest district, Section 2 , to which the Colentina, Iancului, Pantelimon and Tei districts belong, and there she was an instructor for public relations and legal issues. In 1974 she was again an instructor in the Central Committee department for cadres and in August 1979 secretary for propaganda of the party committee in the Olt district .

Maria Ghițulică became a member of the Central Committee of the PCR at the Twelfth Party Congress of the PCR from November 19 to 23, 1979 and was a member of this until the Romanian Revolution on December 22, 1989 . On May 24, 1982, she became First Secretary of the Party Committee in Vrancea County and President of the Executive Committee of the People's Council in Vrancea County.

At the thirteenth party congress of the PCR from November 19 to 22, 1984 , she also became a candidate for the Political Executive Committee of the Central Committee and remained in this position until December 22, 1989. Maria Ghițulică also became Vice-President of the State Council on April 1, 1985 ( Consiliului de Stat) , the collective body that provided the President. Most recently she was between April 15, 1987 and 1989 First Secretary of the Party Committee in Iași County and President of the Executive Committee of the People's Council in Iași County.

In 1980 she became a member of the Grand National Assembly (Marea Adunare Națională) for the first time and represented in this until 1985 first the constituency of Studina No. 6 and between 1985 and 1989 the constituency of Vrancea . During her parliamentary membership, she was secretary of the Grand National Assembly from April 1, 1980 to 1985.
