Maria Kühn
Maria Kühn (born February 14, 1982 in Dresden , married Maria Kreß ) is a German wheelchair basketball player .
She came to basketball in Ludwigsburg and then moved to SV Reha Augsburg , with whom she was promoted to the Bundesliga . In 2011 she moved to the Mainhatten Skywheelers . In 2009 Kühn was appointed to the national team for the first time and won the European Championship with the German team in Great Britain . In 2010 she became vice world champion in Birmingham and European champion again in 2011 in Israel. At the Paralympics 2012 in London, Kühn won the gold medal with the German team.
In 2012, Federal President Joachim Gauck awarded Kühn the Silver Laurel Leaf .
