Maria Mathis (born December 13, 1967 in Ried im Innkreis ) is an Austrian singer and presenter of folk music.

Life

Maria Mathis was seven years old on stage. She later performed with her sister as Inge and Maria and with her brother as Schari and Wari and achieved a certain degree of popularity in the popular sector, especially in the 1980s and 1990s. She made her breakthrough in 1988 as the singer of the band Edelweiss with the title Bring me Edelweiss , with which she also became internationally known.
