Maria Scheffold
Maria Scheffold (* approx. 1912 ; † 1970 ) was a German chess player .
Chess successes
Maria Scheffold won the Württemberg women's championship in 1955 and achieved a shared fifth place at the 1956 German women's championship in Wolfratshausen . In November 1960 Maria Scheffold became German champion in Büdingen .
She took part in other German women's championships:

- 1957 in Lindau (Bodensee) , first Helga ax
- 1959 in Dahn , winner Friedl Rinder
- 1961 in Wennigsen (Deister) , first Helga ax
