Maria de Fátima Belo

Maria de Fátima Inácio Castro Carneiro Belo (born June 27, 1952 in Tirilolo , Baucau , Portuguese Timor ) is a politician from East Timor and a member of the Congresso Nacional da Reconstrução Timorense (CNRT) party.

Belo replaced the MP José da Silva Panão, who died in August 2015, in the National Parliament of East Timor . In the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2012 , she narrowly missed entry to number 33 of the CNRT. As a member of parliament, Belo became a member of the permanent commission established in 2016 to establish structures (Comissão Permanente Estabelece nia Estrutura) . In the parliamentary elections in 2017 , she was no longer nominated by the CNRT as a candidate and thus left parliament.
