Marian Funk

Marian Funk (born November 4, 1980 in Berlin ) is a German theater actor and speaker.

Life

After graduating from high school in 2000 at the Antonianum in Geseke, Westphalia, Funk began studying acting in 2002 at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts , which he completed in 2006. Since 2004 he has taken on roles at theaters in Frankfurt am Main , Giessen and Paderborn . Funk has been a speaker for Hessischer Rundfunk a. a. active for the broadcast " Worth knowing " of the hr2- Hörfunks. He also holds readings and works as an advertising spokesperson.

He achieved greater popularity through audio books for children. His activities include the narrative role in the radio play for the series Dora on the television station Nickelodeon and the audio book versions of Kenneth Oppel's adventure novels Wolkenpanther and Wolkenpiraten. His last work, the symphonic pop audio book "Rosi in der Geisterbahn" based on a picture book by Philip Waechter, was published in 2008 and made it onto the hr2 audio book list in June 2008. Marian Funk lives in Berlin.
