Marianne Deml
Marianne Deml (born March 8, 1949 in Neunburg vorm Wald ) is a German politician. She has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament as a member of the CSU since 1990 . From June 1993 to January 2001 she was State Secretary in the Bavarian State Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Forestry .
Life
From 1966 to 1968 Deml attended the higher technical school for rural housekeeping in Triesdorf . From 1968 to 1971 she worked in the diocese of Regensburg as a diocesan consultant for the Catholic rural youth movement (KLJB). She then worked as a teacher for four years. In 1978 she passed her master's examination in rural housekeeping. From 1981 to 1985 she worked part-time at various vocational schools. From 1989 to 1990 she was a public relations officer at Solar-Hydrogen-Bayern GmbH.
Political career
Her political commitment began in 1977 when she joined the CSU. She has been a district councilor in the Schwandorf district since 1984 . In the state elections in 1990, she was elected to the Bavarian state parliament for the first time, to which she has been a member since then. In June 1993 she was appointed State Secretary in the Bavarian Ministry of Agriculture under Minister of State Reinhold Bocklet , which she held until January 2001. Deml has been a member of the CSU executive committee since 1999. To state elections in Bavaria in 2008 , they did not stand for re-election.
In 2006 she was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit for her services .
