Marie Elisabeth von Ahlefeldt

Marie Elisabeth von Ahlefeldt (* December 25, 1719 in Haselau ; † January 24, 1769 at Tranckier Castle ) was the conventual and lady-in-waiting of Princess Louise of Denmark and Norway .

Life

She was the daughter of the Chancellery President and Chamberlain of Duke Karl Friedrich , Benedikt von Ahlefeldt and his wife Charlotte Amalia von Reventlow, daughter of Detlev von Reventlow auf Stubbe. Later she moved into a small apartment in the noble Uetersen monastery , a monastery for unmarried major daughters, and lived there as a conventual for a few years. After that she was maid of honor of Princess Louise of Denmark and Norway until 1748. On October 10, 1760 she married the officer and landlord Friedrich von Ahlefeldt (1702–1773) to Langeland and Rixingen . This marriage resulted in two children.
