Marie Friederike Schöder

Marie Friederike Schöder (born April 24, 1981 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German singer ( soprano ). In 2008 she won first prize at the  Leipzig Bach Competition .

Career

Schöder studied singing at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and was a member of the soloist ensemble of the Halle Opera from 2009 to 2013 . In 2013 she recorded her first CD with the Vogtland Philharmonie Greiz Reichenbach on ARS Produktion , followed by a baroque album with the Batzdorfer Hofkapelle on Accent Records in 2015 .

Schöder is an active member of the Cologne Society for Early Music. She is married, has a son and lives with her family in Stuttgart .
