Marka Míková
Marka Míková (born Marie Horáková ; born December 28, 1959 in České Budějovice ) is a Czech actress and singer . She became internationally known for her title role in How to Wake Up Kissing Sleeping Beauty .
Life
Marie Horakova had her first role in 1972 in the film The Straw Hat (Slamený klobouk). In her second film, she played alongside Miroslava Šafránková in Karel Kachyňa's film Little Miss Robinson (1974). In 1978 she played Princess Ruzenka, a modern answer to Sleeping Beauty , in Václav Vorlíček's How to Wake Up Kissing Sleeping Beauty . This role earned her international popularity. In 1981 she was seen in the film Rübezahl and the Skiers (Krakonos a lyzníci). She was also seen in German films, including a. as Veronika, maid of the heroine played by Claude Jade in Vicki Baum's Rendezvous in Paris (1982). In the Czech Republic she is also known as the singer of the band “Dybbuk” (since 1987 “Zuby Nehty”).
