Miroslava Šafránková

Miroslava Šafránková (real name Šafránková-Drozdová ; born June 11, 1958 in Brno , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech actress .

Šafránková played the title role in the 1975 Bulgarian-Czech fairy tale adaptation The Little Mermaid ("Mála mořská víla") after Hans Christian Andersen . Her sister Libuše Šafránková , the leading actress from Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella (Tři oříšky pro Popelku) from 1973, also starred in this film .

Miroslava Šafranková got married in Germany in the 1980s. From 1986 to 1989 she lived in Mexico, but then moved back to the Czech Republic. She no longer works as an actress.

When it became known in November 2015 that Libuše had lung cancer, Sister Miroslava represented her at the award ceremony for the Medal of Merit .
