Marian column (Eresing)

The Marian column in Eresing , a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech , was built in 1776. The Marian column on Kaspar-Ett-Straße is a protected architectural monument .

According to the inscription, the Marian column was donated by the owner of the Riedhof, Joseph Aumüller. It was moved to its current location in 1969.

The baroque sandstone column on a rectangular pedestal bears a crescent moon Madonna with a gilded halo. The fountain basin was created in 1999.
