The building with the postal address Marienstraße 17 is a listed building on Marienstraße in Stralsund .

The plastered building on the eaves was built on two floors and in 1866 it was increased by a full floor and an attic floor.

The left axis of the building is halved. Six pilasters spanning several floors and resting on pedestals divide the facade vertically; they are decorated with capitals and entablature. Belt cornices divide the house horizontally.

The attic level has square skylights. The front door dates from 1877.

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 512.
