The building with the postal address Marienstraße 16 is a listed building on Marienstraße in Stralsund .

The two-story , traufständige stucco building was around the year 1780 as the rectory of St. Mary's Church built.

The facade of the house has a continuous plastering on the ground floor. The central portal conceals a two-winged front door that is decorated with classical elements. The slightly angled front follows the street layout, which was adapted to the Stralsund city wall .

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 511.
