Marij Kogoj

Marij (Julij) Kogoj (born September 20, 1892 in Trieste , † February 25, 1956 in Ljubljana ) was a Yugoslav composer. He was a student of Schönberg and Franz Schreker and was particularly popular in the 1920s. His main work is the opera Črne maske (Black Masks).
