After graduating from MGU, Korovina taught at the Moscow Institute of Civil Engineering (since 1993 State University of Civil Engineering) at the Chair of Higher Mathematics.

After postgraduate at the WMK-faculty of the MGU when Yevgeny Ivanovich Moiseyev Korowina defended in 1991 with success their dissertation on the Cauchy problem for certain systems of linear differential equations in the space of holomorphic functions for promotion to the candidate of physical and mathematical sciences.

In 1991 she became a research assistant at MGU in the International Laboratory for Mathematical Methods in Computer Science and Administration. In 1994 she became an assistant at the chair for general mathematics at the WMK faculty, and in 2003 a lecturer . In 2005 she successfully defended her doctoral thesis on elliptical problems in asymptotic spaces and its applications to the construction of self-adjoint extensions of the Laplace operator for her doctorate in physical-mathematical sciences. In 2007 she was appointed professor .
