Marina Evgenjewna Kim ( Russian Марина Евгеньевна Ким ; born August 11, 1983 in Leningrad ) is a Russian TV presenter and actress with Korean roots.

Career

Marina Kim was born in 1983 in Leningrad as the daughter of a businessman and a university teacher . Marina's father belonged to the Korean minority (so-called Korjo-Saram ) in the Soviet Union . Her mother taught at the Lesgaft Academy of Physical Exercise in Leningrad. After graduation Marina began at the State University of Saint Petersburg , the specialist International Relations to study. At the age of 19, she interrupted her studies to move to Moscow , where she entered the Moscow State Institute of International Relations . She began her television career in her final year at university. From 2004 to 2007 she worked for the media company RBK . In 2012 she took part in the seventh season of the Russian version of the show Dancing with the Stars and reached second place with her dance partner Alexander Litvinenko ( Russian Александр Литвиненко ). From 2014 to 2017 she hosted the program Good Morning ( Russian Доброе утро ), which is broadcast on the First TV Channel ( Pervy kanal ). She has been hosting a talk show there since 2018 .
