Marina Ladynina ( Russian Марина Алексеевна Ладынина * 11 . Jul / 24. June  1908 greg. In Skotinino , Smolensk ; † 10. March 2003 in Moscow ) was a Soviet actress .

Life

Marina Ladynina was born into a peasant family in the Smolensk Governorate. Soon after, her family moved to Nazarovo in Siberia, where Marina starred in the school theater. After school she worked as a teacher. In 1929 she went to Moscow and began studying at GITIS , which she successfully completed in 1933. After completing her studies, she was accepted into the MChAT ensemble .

However, Ladynina became famous as a film actress. In 1936 she married the film director Ivan Pyrjew , who cast her in all of his films until the 1950s. In 1954 their marriage fell apart. After the separation from Pyrjew, Ladynina was no longer occupied.

She died in Moscow on March 10, 2003.
