Mario Curletto (born September 13, 1935 in Livorno ; † December 22, 2004 ibid) was an Italian foil fencer .
successes
Mario Curletto won the bronze medal with the team at the 1958 World Championships in Philadelphia . At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 he reached the team competition unbeaten in the final against the Soviet Union , which the Italian team lost 4-9. Together with Luigi Carpaneda , Aldo Aureggi , Edoardo Mangiarotti and Alberto Pellegrino , Curletto received the silver medal. In the individual competition, he was eliminated in the quarterfinals. In 1964 he finished 17th in the singles in Tokyo , while he was seventh with the team.
