Aldo Aureggi (born October 6, 1931 in Rome ; † August 21, 2020 ) was an Italian foil fencer .
successes
Aldo Aureggi won the bronze medal with the team at the World Championships in Paris in 1957 . At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 he reached the team competition unbeaten in the final against the Soviet Union , which the Italian team lost 4-9. Aureggi received the silver medal together with Luigi Carpaneda , Mario Curletto , Edoardo Mangiarotti and Alberto Pellegrino .
