Mario Franchini

Mario Franchini (born December 9, 1901 in Pieve di Soligo , † after 1959 ) was an Italian film director and screenwriter .

Franchini mainly worked as a journalist . With his wife Marcella Albani - they were married from 1931 until their death in 1959 and had one child - in the lead role he directed two films based on his own scripts, which were artistically average and only shown regionally.

Franchini is not to be confused with the Garbagna- born author of the same name .
