Mario Galinović (born November 15, 1976 in Zagreb ) is a Croatian football player .

Mario Galinović, who plays the position of goalkeeper , began his career at the Croatian club NK Osijek , where he started in youth and made it to the men's team. He became a professional player at NK Osijek in 1998 and won the Croatian Cup with the club in 1999. He also made his first UEFA Cup appearances in Osijek . In 2002 he moved to Velika for the local soccer club NK Kamen Ingrad Velika , where he made a total of 64 missions. In the autumn of 2003 he came with his new club on two more appearances in the UEFA Cup against FC Schalke 04 . In the summer of 2004 Galinović finally moved to Greece to Panathinaikos Athens , where he is under contract to this day. In the Panathinaikos jersey, he made his Champions League debut in September 2004 against Rosenborg Trondheim .

Galinović made his debut in the Croatian national team on June 13, 1999 in a friendly against Egypt at a mini-tournament in Seoul . He was also the third goalkeeper for the Croatian national team during qualifying for the 2008 European Championship , but was only used in the 2007 friendly against Slovakia .
