Mario Garbuglia

Mario Garbuglia (born May 27, 1927 in Fontespina , † March 31, 2010 in Cibitano Marche ) was an Italian film set designer and set designer .

Life

Garbuglia was one of the most respected outfitters of Italian cinema and worked with Luchino Visconti and Nikita Michalkow , among others . He has received a number of awards, such as the David di Donatello for La storia vera della signora delle camelie , a Nastro d'Argento for The Leopard and the British Film Prize in the category Best Production Design for Waterloo .

He started working for the film industry as a scenographer in 1950.
