British Academy Film Award : Best Production Design
The list includes winners and nominees in the Best Production Design category . Until 1968, the prize in the Best British Production Design category was awarded separately for color and black and white films, with only one prize being awarded in the color category in 1968. After the award ceremony was restructured in 1969, the Best Production Design category, which still exists today, was created . The award ceremony honors films from the previous year.
The films listed are given with their German distribution title (if this can be determined), followed by the foreign-language original title in brackets in italics. The original title is not mentioned if the German and original film titles are identical. The winners are highlighted first.
