Tony Burrough
Tony Burrough (born before 1978) is a production designer .
Life
Burrough began his career as a production designer for the BBC in 1978, during which time he worked on television productions such as Yes Minister and Top of the Pops . In the 1980s he worked on a number of television films and finally, from the beginning of the 1990s, primarily for feature film productions such as Great Expectations , Knights from Passion and Hotel Rwanda .
For Shakespeare - adaptation Richard III. He was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Production Design in 1996, but this year the award went to Restoration - Time of Sensuality . In 1997, however, he won for Richard III. the BAFTA Film Award in the Best Production Design category . His work for television was recognized with a nomination for the BAFTA TV Award and a Primetime Emmy nomination.
