Mario Lehner (* 1950 - February 3, 2010 ) was a German singer. He was the lead singer of the Munich band Zauberberg .
Life
Lehner grew up in Elkofen , studied German and later became a professional musician. In 1978 he was the singer of the Rock Requiem in Munich. Under the pseudonym Mario Jordan he reached number 7 in the German single charts in 1992 with the song Welch ein Tag . On the B-side of the single was an English version of the song, A lovely day . The song Welch ein Tag was also used for the Diebels commercial. In 1992 he received the Golden Tuning Fork award under his pseudonym Mario Jordan . He died of sudden cardiac death on February 3, 2010 .
