Mario Ranieri [ m'aˑʁɪoˑ ʁaˑɲ'ɛˑʁɪˑ ] (born September 16, 1980 in St. Pölten , Austria ; real name Mario Leichtfried ) is an Austrian hard techno ( Schranz ) and techno DJ , producer and label operator.

Ranieri released his first record "Elektr. Volksmusik" in 1999 on his own label Schubffekt Records . Further recordings by Ranieri can be found on vinyl as well as on various mix CDs.

In its meeting on June 7, 2006, the jury for the Youngster of Arts St. Pölten decided to award a prize to Mario Ranieri-Leichtfried for his extraordinary commitment in the field of hard techno. This was presented on October 6, 2006 in the VAZ St. Pölten by Mayor Matthias Stadler .

In September 2008 he and Frank Kvitta produced the song "Tourette 2008" with the accompanying music video, which was played on some music channels ( VIVA Magyarország , MadTV (Bulgaria), goTV , Óčko , iMusic1 etc.). The video reached number 12 in the charts of the music channel iMusic1 in the first week of broadcast.

In December 2008, Mario Ranieri was voted 10th of the "Best DJs International" by the readers at the Raveline Poll 2008. In the category "Best Track 2008" there was an award for the song "Tourette 2008" with place 9 and it was also mentioned again in the category "Take-off 2008".

Also in the Raveline Poll 2009 he was voted 10th as "Best DJ International". In the category "Best Track 2009" there was a mention of his production "Jugz in da Clubz" and for the first time his label "Schub Faktor" was awarded 5th place as "Label National 2009".

On March 12, 2010, the SAE Institute Vienna awarded him the diploma for successfully completing his audio engineering studies. In the same year Mario Ranieri was nominated for the Austrian Dance Award 2010 in the category "Best Techno / Tech-House / Progressive".

On September 30, 2011, Mario Ranieri and Braunton published an art video entitled "Incarnation", in which the life of a pig was presented audiovisually. The video was only published on YouTube for the time being.

On October 24, 2013, Mario Ranieri released the song "Slow Seeker" by Weisz & Ascher with the accompanying 4K music video on his label Schubffekt. It is played on the music channels VIVA & MTV . Ranieri's daughter plays one of the leading roles in the music video he produced.

He has already performed at events such as Awakenings , Creamfields , Defqon.1 , InQontrol or the Love Parade . Mario Ranieri has released numerous singles, remixes and CDs.
