Mario Vegetti
Mario Vegetti (born January 4, 1937 in Milan ; † March 11, 2018 ibid) was an Italian Graecist and historian of philosophy and medicine .
After studying at the University of Pavia , as a student at the Collegio Ghislieri , Vegetti received the laurea in 1959 with a thesis on the history of Thucydides and in 1967 the libera docenza in the history of ancient philosophy. From 1975 he was there full professor for the history of ancient philosophy in the Dipartimento di Filosofia of the University of Pavia.
