Marion Gröbner (born December 26, 1985 in Scheibbs ) is an Austrian soccer player . The offensive player plays for the Norwegian second division Medkila Idrettslag and the Austrian national team .

Career

Gröbner began her career in 1992 in Wieselburg and later played in the Bundesliga for SG Ardagger / Neustadtl , SV Neulengbach , Union Kleinmünchen Linz and USC Landhaus Wien . With Neulengbach she won the championship in 2004 . In 2010 she moved to Germany to join the Bundesliga club Herford SV . In April 2012 she signed with Medkila Idrettslag in Norway.

Gröbner has been active in the Austrian senior national team since 2003, before she played in the U-19 national team. In 2008 she was voted Austria's footballer of the year in the VdF footballer poll . On January 20, 2013, she announced her move back to the German Bundesliga for FSV Gütersloh 2009 , where she signed a six-month contract.
