Marisa Lee Miller , b. Bertetta, (born August 6, 1978 in Santa Cruz , California ) is an American model .

Life

During her childhood, Miller was a noted volleyball player in her high school . Another hobby was surfing. In 2001 she moved to Santa Barbara to devote more time to surfing. She was discovered on the beach in Santa Barbara by the star photographer Mario Testino .

She got her first job from the men's magazine Perfect 10 , for which she posed naked at the beginning of her career. In the same year she was featured on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition .

Miller was featured on the covers of fashion magazines such as Vogue , Fitness and Shape . She also worked on advertising campaigns for companies such as Tommy Hilfiger , J.Crew and Nordstrom . In 2003 and 2004 she was photographed again for the sports magazine Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition .

In 2004 she starred in the television series Manhunt: The Search for America's Most Gorgeous Male Model . She also appeared on The View and The Sharon Osbourne Show . As soon as her model contracts end, she wants to go to university.

On December 4, 2007, she made her debut for Victoria's Secret on the catwalk and presented swimwear in an advertising campaign with Alessandra Ambrosio . In 2009 she was chosen to present the most expensive brassiere of the year at the fashion show. The piece, specially designed by Diamani for Victoria's Secret, is adorned with 2,300 diamonds and is worth 2.2 million euros.

She works less often as an actress, for example as Opal Pavlenko , Roy's avatar in RIPD from 2013. In the 2008 list of the 100 most beautiful women in the world by Maxim magazine , Marisa Miller took first place. She was also voted the sexiest woman in the world by readers of FHM magazine in 2010.

Miller has been married to Griffin Guess since April 15, 2006. She was previously married to Jim Miller from 2000 to 2002.
