Marius Reksjø

Marius Reksjø (born October 3, 1973 in Horten ) is a Norwegian jazz bassist .

Live and act

Reksjø, who studied music at the University of Oslo, was initially the bass player in the group Insert Coin . He became known through his collaboration with Eivind Aarsets band Électronique Noir , on whose album Light Extracts (2001) he participated, and with Bugge Wesseltoft (album Moving , 2001). With the Bobby Hughes Combination he recorded the album Nhu Golden Era (2002). He has also performed with the Danish rock band The Savage Rose and the singer-songwriter Jan Eggum (album Deilig ).

With the singer Beate S. Lech , Reksjø forms the duo Beady Belle . His debut album Home was created in 1999 (released 2001), followed by the albums Cewbeagappic (2004), Closer (2005) and Belvedere (2008).
