Marius Strangl (born October 2, 1990 in Erlangen ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Marius Strangl started playing football in his hometown at SpVgg in 1904 Erlangen and later moved to FSV Erlangen-Bruck . At the age of 14 he went to neighboring Fürth and joined the SpVgg . There he went through the other years of youth up to the U19, before moving to the second team in 2009.

When the defensive middle players in the professional team of the Kleeblättler ran out due to injuries in autumn 2009, coach Benno Möhlmann resorted to the young talent of the reserve team and on November 22nd Strangl came to his first second division appearance. He helped out with the professionals three more times before returning to the regional league team. For the 2010/11 season he signed a professional contract for three years.

In June 2012 the contract was terminated and he moved to the new season for FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt . In two years he played 37 third division games for Erfurt and scored three goals. In 2014 Strangl went to SpVgg Oberfranken Bayreuth . He played for three years with Bayreuth in the Regionalliga Bayern .

After three seasons with Upper Franconia, Strangl joined TSV Lehnerz in the Hessen League .
