Marius White (* 3. March 1975 in Bielefeld ) is a Hessian SPD - politician and member of the Hessian Parliament .

education and profession

After graduating from high school, Marius Weiß did his community service in Idstein from 1995 and then studied law at the University of Frankfurt . In 2005 he passed the first and in 2007 the second state examination. Since October 2007 he has been working in a Wiesbaden law firm.

politics

Marius Weiß is a member of the SPD and chairman of the Idstein city association and vice-chairman of the SPD in the Rheingau-Taunus district . Marius Weiß has been a city councilor in Idstein since 2004.

In the state elections in Hesse in 2008 as well as in the early state elections in Hesse in 2009 , the state elections in Hesse in 2013 and the state elections in Hesse in 2018, he was defeated as a constituency candidate in the Rheingau-Taunus II constituency by Peter Beuth of the CDU, but moved over the state list in the Hessian state parliament. Since 2016, Weiß has been deputy parliamentary group leader of the SPD parliamentary group.

family

Marius Weiß is married and has one son. His wife is the granddaughter of the former State Secretary Heinz Kreutzmann and the niece of the journalist Thomas Kreutzmann.
