The Mark is a small river that flows through the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant and flows into the coastal waters of Volkerak south of Rotterdam under the name Dintel .

The river has its source as ' t Merckske in Belgium , then flows as Bovenmark through the city of Breda , where it joins the river Aa or Weerijs to form the Mark. From the village of Standaarbuiten the name Dintel is used.

Its mouth forms the harbor for an important industrial area ( industrial area Dintelmond )
