Mark Hensby (born June 29, 1971 in Melbourne ) is an Australian professional golfer on the PGA Tour .
He became a professional golfer in 1995 and has played on the North American PGA TOUR since 2000. Hensby won his first win in 2004 at the John Deere Classic . He has also played the second tier tournament series (now the Nationwide Tour ) in the US and recorded three tournament wins. In 2005, Hensby won a major European Tour event , the Scandinavian Masters .
So far he was once in the international team at the Presidents Cup 2005, and in the same year with Peter Lonard in the World Cup for Australia.
Mark Hensby is married to Jillian, has one child, and is a resident of Mesa , Arizona .
