Mark Lindsay (* 9. March 1942 in Eugene ) is an American rhythm-and-blues - singer and composer ; he was a co-founder of the Paul Revere & the Raiders group .

Life

Mark Linsay began his musical career in 1959 as the front man of a band in Idaho. In 1960 he met keyboardist Paul Revere and they formed a band called The Downbeats, which they later renamed Paul Revere & the Raiders. From 1969 Lindsay began a solo career as a singer and had several chart successes.
