Mark Muller (born August 26, 1964 in Geneva , resident in Veyrier ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ).

biography

Muller has been at the University of Geneva , the law student and won the bar exam . From 1988 to 1989 he was head of the legal service of a Geneva company and later worked from 1992 to 1993 as an employee in a financial institution. For ten years (1993–2003) he was a lawyer in the General Secretariat of the Geneva Real Estate Chamber and then as a study participant at Costabella Pirkl.

His first political office was in 1999 as a municipal councilor in Geneva. He held this office until 2001 and was then elected to the Grand Council . From November 13, 2005 to the end of February 2012, he was State Councilor for the Canton of Geneva . On February 27, 2012, after several affairs, in particular a fight with a bartender on New Year's Eve 2011, he announced his resignation at the end of the month.

Muller is married and has two children.
