Mark Steven Johnson (born October 30, 1964 in Hastings , Minnesota ) is an American screenwriter , film producer and film director .

Filmography

He made his debut as a screenwriter in 1993 with A Crazy Couple . Two years later he wrote the script for the sequel The Third Spring - Friends, Enemies, Fish & Women . In 1998 he was one of the people responsible for the script for Jack Frost .

After the tragic comedy Simon Birch (1998), his debut as a director, Johnson ventured into the comic film Daredevil in 2003 , which he supervised as director and author, as with Simon Birch .

After that, Johnson only appeared at Elektra in 2005 as Executive Producer (production manager) .

In 2007 he directed the comic book version Ghost Rider with Nicolas Cage in the lead role, for which he also wrote the script.

Johnson's film Killing Season was released in US cinemas in 2013 .
