The following winter, Charlie builds a snowman to whom he gives his father's things. Jack's ghost takes control of the snowman, who can now speak and move. He spends some time with his son, then says goodbye to Charlie and his ex-wife Gabby. The spirit returns to the hereafter.
Reviews
Jane Horwtiz described the film in the Washington Post on December 11, 1998 as "formulaic", "coarse", "stickily sentimental" and "without charm" . It is a particularly bad example of a Hollywood film conceived in the committees (“its movie-by-committee worst”) . She praised the performances of Kelly Preston and Joseph Cross, but Michael Keaton did not manage to amusingly convey the "lame chatter" of Jack Frost.
The lexicon of international films wrote that the film was “developed like a template” and lost in “pathetic emotional drudgery” . He also lacks “lightness” and “imagination” .
