Will Rothhaar (born January 12, 1987 in New York City ) is an American actor .

Life and accomplishments

Rothhaar appeared in a play at the age of four. He played his first film role alongside Dabney Coleman in the television thriller In the Clutches of the Kidnappers from 1995. In the drama Black and Blue , he played the role of Robert Benedetto , the son of Frances Benedetto ( Mary Stuart Masterson ) who is frequently beaten up by her husband Bobby ( Anthony LaPaglia ). For this role he was nominated for the Young Artist Award in 2000. In the same year he was nominated for the YoungStar Award for his role in the television drama Candidate in the Crossfire . He received another nomination for the Young Artist Award in 2002 for his role in the drama Hearts in Atlantis , in which he starred alongside Anthony Hopkins .

In the comedy Kart Racer Rothhaar played a bigger role alongside Randy Quaid . From 2004 to 2005 he was seen in the television series Listen Up .

For his role in the play The Cryptogram by David Mamet Rothhaar was awarded the 1999 Hollywood Reporter Young Star Award awarded.
