Mark van Kleunen

Mark van Kleunen (born December 10, 1973 in Kattendijke ) is a Dutch biologist.

Life

He studied biology at the University of Utrecht and obtained his doctorate in 2001 from the University of Zurich . This was followed by research stays at the University of British Columbia (Canada) as well as the University of KwaZulu-Natal and the University of Stellenbosch (both South Africa), then he completed his habilitation at the University of Bern . Since 2011 he has been professor of ecology at the University of Konstanz .

One focus of his research are invasive plants.
